Sunday=Pasta

Pasta on Sundays has long been a tradition in my family, though nowadays Jason & Sofia do most of the pasta cooking (as my mother can attest to since Jason calls her up every Sunday to "tattle" on me that I'm not making pasta for him). Sofia loves to help us in whatever we're up to and frequently exclaims "I cook!" whenever she observes cooking or mixing or chopping being done.

We often find Sofia here in her room on her chair reading when she is seeking a little alone time.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sofia!

It's so hard to believe that our little girl is 2 already. We had such a great time at the Creative Discovery Museum celebrating her big day.

The framing and roofing are done! Windows and doors are supposed to be in this week.

First Day of School

Sofia started school today! The teachers said she had a great day and she seemed very happy!
